BEGINNER COURSES

PADI Discover Scuba Diving:
Min. age: 10 years old
Duration: 1 day
Max depth: 12 m.
A little bit of theory, a few exercises and you are ready to dive
the Red Sea with a professional diver!
The "+": This day can be credited
toward the PADI Scuba Diver and PADI Open Water courses!
PADI Scuba Diver:
Min age: 10 years old
Duration: 2-3 days
Max depth: 12m.
This is the first PADI level which enables you to dive afterward with a professional
diver to a maximum depth of 12 meters. The course is composed with theory,
exercises in a confined environment and 2 dives.
The "+": These 2 days can be credited toward
the PADI Open Water course if you wish to continue your diving education!
PADI Open Water Diver:
Min age: 10 years old
Duration: 4-5 days
Max depth: 18m.
This is the most requested level in beginners' levels. The Open Water diver
course gives you autonomy to dive up to 18 meters with another certified diver
with the same qualifications or more. To do so, you learn to plan your dives,
to handle various underwater situations and to be familiar with your equipment.
PADI Open Water REFERRAL:
If you have already started a course back home and
want to finish it here in Egypt then this is possible!
ADVANCED COURSES

PADI Adventure Diver:
Min age: 12 years old
Amount of dives: 3
Prerequisites: PADI Open Water Diver or equivalent level
To be more comfortable underwater and to get new diving experiences, you
choose 3 themes from the following list! Deep dive - Navigation dive -
Night dive - Multilevel dive - Peak performance buoyancy - Enriched Air
Nitrox - Underwater naturalist - Search and recovery - Shark diver - Drift
dive & Wreck dive.
PADI Advanced Open Water Diver:
Min age: 12 years old
Amount of dives: 5
Max depth: 30m.
Prerequisites: PADI Open Water Diver or equivalent level
5 theme dives which include: Deep dive and Navigation dives. The 3 other
dives themes to choose from are: Night dive - Multilevel dive- Underwater
naturalist - Enriched Air Nitrox - Search and recovery - Peak performance
buoyancy - Shark diver - Drift dive & Wreck dive.
The "+": A theme dive done in a PADI Adventure
Diver or PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course can be credited as the
first dive of a
corresponding PADI Specialty course.
PADI Rescue Diver:
Min age: 12 years old
Amount of dives: 5
Duration: 4-5 days
Prerequisites: - PADI Advanced Open Water Diver or equivalent level - Emergency
First Response or equivalent certification which must still be valid
This course teaches you how to prevent accidents from happening, how to
handle serious diving situation underwater and on the surface. By the end
of this training, you also gain self confidence.
SPECIALTY COURSES

PADI Nitrox Diver Specialty:
Min age: 15 years old
Amount of dives: 2
Prerequisites: PADI Open Water Diver or equivalent level
Nitrox became very popular in the last years. The reason is that it leads
to safer dives. Your no decompression limit is extended so you can dive longer!
It has only advantages! The theory is neither difficult nor long and this
can be combined together with a normal daily dive! This course allows you
to dive with up to 40% oxygen. Therefore, much less nitrogen ;-)
The +:
-For Open Water students, the last open water dive can be done as the
first dive of the PADI Nitrox course!
-Once you are a certified Nitrox diver, you can dive using Nitrox 32 tanks
for no extra cost!
PADI Wreck Diver Specialty:
Min age: 15 years old
Amount of dives: 4
Prerequisites: PADI Adventure Diver or equivalent level
This course introduces you to: the way to plan a wreck dive, to use specific
equipments, to learn about special hazards and how to handle them…
PADI Deep Diver Specialty:
Min age: 15 years old
Amount of dives: 4
Prerequisites: PADI Adventure Diver or equivalent level
This course trains you to deeper dives to a maximum of 40 meters. You
learn about deep dive planning, computer use. You have as well a deeper knowledge
about nitrogen narcosis and oxygen toxicity.
PADI Dolphin Rebreather Diver Specialty:
Min age: 15 years old
Amount of dives: 4
Prerequisites: - PADI Advanced Open Water Diver or equivalent level
- PADI Nitrox Diver or equivalent level
This is a step into technical diving! The first advantage is that you
have a silent dive since very few bubbles are being released. Therefore,
it is perfect to approach fish or bigger creatures like hammerheads. Also,
the warm and humid air you breathe makes the dive very comfortable. If you
are an underwater photograph, this is another reason to join this course
since your buoyancy is not depending on your breathing!
